Our investment philosophy centers on identifying undervalued assets that often go unnoticed by the broader market
Offering qualified investors opportunities typically reserved for institutional investors
In 2023, our investment thesis included a focus on the AI “picks and shovels” or infrastructure layer.
We became aware of CoreWeave through our professional network, which included individuals who knew the CEO personally. At the time of our initial investment, CoreWeave was a less prominent company in the AI infrastructure space.
Our decision to invest was based on our independent analysis and assessment of the company’s potential value relative to other opportunities in the sector.
CoreWeave was an “East Coast” deal priced at an attractive valuation, with leading investors including Magnetar, Blackstone, and Macquarie.
Lumida first invested in CoreWeave at approximately $15 per share in mid-2023, with a larger follow-on investment at around $47 per share in fall 2024.
CoreWeave has since gone public.
Lumida has sponsored vehicles in CoreWeave; performance information is available to qualified investors on request.
Actual outcomes for individual investors may vary based on entry point, holding period, applicable fees, taxes, and market conditions.
Past performance is not indicative of future results, and market prices can fluctuate significantly.
We continue to monitor this investment as part of our overall portfolio.

Lumida invested in QXO, a new venture led by Brad Jacobs. Jacobs is known for building companies like United Waste Systems, United Rentals, and XPO.
He's called the "roll-up king" for buying and merging businesses. Jacobs built five billion-dollar public companies before QXO.
QXO aims to shake up the $800 billion building products distribution industry. QXO has stated its intention to implement technological solutions, including artificial intelligence and e-commerce strategies, in its operations.
Lumida became aware of this investment opportunity through its professional network. Lumida was able to secure the same terms as other investors in the deal, such as the Walton family, 3G Capital, Duke University, and the Kushner family.
Several investors invested in QXO at the advice of Lumida on the secondary market. Performance information is available to qualified investors on request.
